Someone told me that if there are no numbers or sizes on connrod bearings they are standard is this true? I am trying to find these in Australia can someone help me with some part numbers and suppliers in Brisbane or Gold Coast. Thanks

Can't help with whether there are numbers or not on standard size bearings. And I'd imagine it would be very highly unlikely you'd find any in Australia! Though, very occasionally, some might show up on Aussie eBay. The major Packard parts vendors in the US, Kanters and Max Merritt, definitely have these parts and are your best bet. There is a possibility, if you're a PACA member, the club might have some but you need to be a PACA member to be able to gain access to "club stock" parts. For part numbers, you can download the 1935-1941 PARTS LIST from the PackardInfo.com website - it's in the Packard Literature and Manuals section under Parts Lists and Manuals there.

Thanks for your help, I am a member of PACA so I will check it out my problem is no sizes marked on bearings hard to order overseas I usually try to cross match here first
