G'day kieran, Welcome to PACA's Technical Forum. I'm not sure of the year, but it looks to be a '35 or '36 Packard Eight or Super Eight Sedan. I'll pass on your query to some others in PACA who are more familiar with these years of Packards and hopefully they can respond. Here's a link to a US Packard Site, PackardInfo, that may assist. Open the link, use the drop down list by year, select 1935 or 1936 then scroll through the models shown, might help. packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/modelinfo/index.php?mode=year&id=1956&ButtonYear=Go

kieran,
Another PACA member, this time from Adelaide, had this to say:
"I agree with Barry, to determine 35 or 36 the engine numbers are probably the easiest way to identify if the car were available to check.
The courtesy lights on the rear guards shining onto the running boards indicate it is a Super 8 or V12 as the standard 8 I believe did not have these lights. Bumper ends indicate it is not V12.
Who owned it here in North Adelaide and where it now is would be an interesting investigation and don’t know if we can find out, but looking."
